Jack Carter Pool
2601 Pleasant Valley Drive, Plano
For only $5 per kid and $9 for adults, Jack Carter Pool offers fun to last all summer. The pools feature a dual rider tube slide, body slide, lazy river, a surf simulator and much more. You can also rent party areas, enjoy the concessions and use changing rooms with rentable lockers.
The Texas Pool
901 Springbrook Dr, Plano
The Texas Pool is as iconic as they come, and of course, shaped like The Lone Star State. The saltwater pool offers memberships for $150 for individuals or $250 for the family. Members’ guests pay $5 per person.
Tom Muehlenbeck Recreation Center
5801 W Parker Road, Plano
The Tom Muehlenbeck Center, managed by the city of Plano Parks and Recreation Department, provides various swimming pool options for visitors to enjoy, such as an adult leisure pool, an indoor lazy river and both indoor and outdoor public swimming pools. Plus, guests can also take advantage of the center's concession stand.
Plano Aquatic Center
2301 Westside Drive, Plano
Right next door to Plano Senior High School is the kid-friendly Plano Aquatic Center. This pool is especially perfect for parents of young kids. It includes an outdoor splash pad, swim classes for kids, along with shallow and deep-water aerobics. Admission for ages 3 and older is $3 for residents and $5 for non-residents.
Carpenter Park Recreation Center
6701 Coit Road, Plano
If indoor pools are more your speed, then the Carpenter Park Recreation Center pool is the one for you. The pool features a toddler area, a party room, leisure lanes and a current channel. Admission for ages 3-15 is $3 for residents and $5 for non-residents. Admission for those 16 and older is $6 for residents and $9 for non-residents.
Oak Point Recreation Center
6000 Jupiter Road, Plano
The Oak Point Recreation Center, recently renovated, now boasts fantastic new indoor and outdoor public swimming pools, featuring over 15 lanes, each 25 meters long. Admission for ages 3-15 is $3 for residents and $5 for non-residents. Admission for those 16 and older is $6 for residents and $9 for non-residents. Please note the wave pool is open for guests, but as of publishing the wave generator is not working.
