DFW’s annual shopping and charity event, Partners Card, is set to run from Oct. 25 to Nov. 3, 2024, offering shoppers 20% discounts at over 500 retailers across North Texas.

Legacy West, one of Plano’s premier shopping destinations, is joining the cause once again, with several of its top stores participating. This year’s Legacy West participants include Aritzia, Coach, Peter Millar, Pockets, Read Between the Lines, Tory Burch and TUMI, giving shoppers ample opportunity to shop for a cause.

Partners Card, a signature fundraiser for The Family Place, the largest family violence agency in Texas, has been a key charitable event in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for over three decades. The card, which costs $75, provides a one-night stay in a shelter for a victim of family violence, with 100% of the proceeds supporting The Family Place's critical services. These services include emergency shelter, a 24-hour crisis hotline, counseling, transitional housing, legal assistance and community advocacy.

According to its official website, Partners Card has raised over $22 million since its inception in 1993, funding shelter and support services for domestic violence survivors. The 2024 event marks the 32nd year of this initiative, which continues to grow each year. In 2023, Partners Card broke records by raising $1.3 million, providing 18,275 nights of shelter for victims.

For those looking to make a difference while checking off their shopping lists, Partners Card offers a way to give back to the community while enjoying the best that DFW shopping has to offer.
