More than a century after the Titanic tragically sank in the North Atlantic, Titanic: The Exhibition, produced by Imagine and Fever, will make its way to Dallas as the beloved story of the “Ship of Dreams” continues to be told through an immersive exhibit.
As the largest and most immersive traveling Titanic experience, Titanic: The Exhibition offers a compelling narrative journey that tells the real stories of passengers and crew aboard the ill-fated ship. Featuring authentic artifacts, powerful stories and stunning ship re-creations alongside props and costumes from James Cameron’s iconic 1997 film Titanic.
A Dallas strip mall will soon be converted into the temporary exhibit. Titanic: The Exhibition will open on Feb. 14, 2025, at Pepper Square, located at 14902 Preston Road, Dallas, TX 75254, in Addison.
Why You Should Go
Titanic: The Exhibition is an interactive experience for all ages that unfolds the captivating story of the world’s largest and most luxurious ship at the time — from its design and creation to its maiden voyage and sinking.
Guests will have the opportunity to view over 350 artifacts, including china, menus, personal belongings and more. The exhibition is set within fully immersive re-creations of the ship's interior, guiding visitors through the timeline of the Titanic’s journey, from its ill-fated sinking to its underwater discovery.
Experience The Past
Upon entry, each guest receives a boarding pass with the name of an actual Titanic passenger, allowing them to follow a personal story as they walk through models of first, second and third-class galleries, each showcasing related artifacts.
The exhibit culminates with emotional stories of love and loss, highlighted in the final galleries where personal belongings and individual anecdotes surround a tribute wall, revealing the fates of the passengers.
Period music (not Celine Dion) sets the tone as visitors admire intricate re-creations of the ship’s interior, including a two-story, full-scale replica of the grand staircase, the first-class hallway and millionaire’s suite, the third-class hallway and cabin, the boiler room and the ship's exterior deck, complete with a starry night sky.
An Audio and Visual Experience
The exhibition also features a film that offers an in-depth exploration of the latest forensic research on the Titanic’s collision, breakup and sinking. Award-winning underwater photography of the Titanic adorns the walls of the discovery gallery, providing a visual display of the ship’s current state on the seafloor.
Additionally, a companion VR experience gives guests the chance to virtually descend 2.5 miles into the Atlantic to reach Titanic's final resting place, allowing them to explore the ship far beneath the ocean’s surface.
For a deeper experience, visitors can opt for the companion audio guide, which offers a rich narrative filled with additional stories of passengers, crew and the events leading up to and following the Titanic’s sinking in April 1912.
