The spotlight is getting a little brighter in Dallas. On Aug. 30, 2025, three-time Tony Award winner Bernadette Peters will join the Plano Symphony Orchestra (PSO) for a dazzling one-night performance at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center.
Titled An Evening with Bernadette Peters and the Plano Symphony Orchestra, the concert promises Broadway hits, soaring orchestral moments and a night where standing ovations are practically guaranteed.
A Career Filled with Honors
Bernadette Peters' list of achievements reads like a Broadway dream. She has won three Tony Awards, a Golden Globe, four Emmy nominations and four Grammy nominations. Her star shines on both the Hollywood Walk of Fame and stages across the world.

Fresh off a successful West End run in Old Friends, a tribute to Stephen Sondheim, Peters is now preparing to take Broadway by storm once again in 2025. Her Broadway credits include unforgettable performances in Hello, Dolly!, Gypsy, Follies, Sunday in the Park with George, Song and Dance and Into the Woods.
Her career stretches beyond the stage to include over 30 film roles such as Pennies from Heaven, The Jerk, Annie and the recent tick, tick...BOOM! She has also starred in popular television series like Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, Mozart in the Jungle and The Good Fight.
A Stage Legend Arrives in North Texas

Giving Back Beyond the Stage
Beyond her career accolades, Peters is known for her dedication to animal welfare. She co-founded Broadway Barks with Mary Tyler Moore, an annual event benefiting New York City’s shelter animals. She also launched West End Woofs in London to support animal shelters across the UK.
Peters received the Isabelle Stevenson Tony Award for her humanitarian efforts and is a New York Times best-selling author of three children's books, with proceeds supporting animal rescue organizations.

With her powerhouse voice, magnetic presence and decades of Broadway brilliance, Peters' performance with the Plano Symphony Orchestra is set to be one of the standout musical events of the year in North Texas.
