McKinney Performing Arts A Christmas Carol

Texas Ballet Theatre’s The Nutcracker

Ring in the holiday season with this critically acclaimed version of The Nutcracker. Relaunched as a new production in 2013, this beloved ballet follows teenage Clara and her enchanted Nutcracker Prince on a thrilling adventure to the Kingdom of Sweets.

A Christmas Story The Musical

Based on the beloved holiday movie that airs nonstop every Christmas, this hit musical follows 9-year-old Ralphie Parker on his quest for the ultimate gift: an Official Red Ryder carbine-action 200-shot Range Model air rifle. Set in 1940s Hohman, Indiana, it’s a nostalgic and heartwarming holiday treat for the whole family. 

Who Killed Rudolph

Christmas is in chaos at the North Pole! Jack Frost has turned Santa's best reindeer into an ice queen, and Rudolph's been causing trouble — stealing candy canes, hoarding snow and sipping Santa's licorice drinks. But when someone takes matters into their own hands, it becomes a very violent Christmas. Can you solve the mystery before the North Pole Yeti Police do? The Gift of Christmas

The Gift of Christmas is a Prestonwood tradition and has become one of the biggest productions of North Texas’ Christmas season, with thousands of guests attending every year. This visually stunning multimedia event is complete with special effects, a nearly 1,000-member cast and choir, live orchestra, flying angels and more.

NTPA Scrooge The Musical

The 14th Annual production of Scrooge – The Musical returns bigger than ever, featuring its largest cast to date with over 100 adult and youth performers. This beloved holiday tradition has captivated nearly 20,000 audience members across North Texas. Directed for the seventh time by NTPA Vice President and ten-time Scrooge veteran Mike Mazur, this production promises to deliver a memorable experience. A Drag Queen Christmas

The all-star queens of RuPaul's Drag Race are back to save Christmas, celebrating the 10th anniversary of A Drag Queen Christmas. Hosted by Nina West, this spectacular show features stars like Sasha Colby, Sapphira Cristal, Roxxxy Andrews and Angeria Paris VanMichaels.
