Bar Sardine, the cozy French bistro tucked into Snider Plaza, is giving Dallas diners a new reason to linger a little longer. Headed up by Executive Chef Eliott Azoulay, who has experience in Michelin-starred restaurants in Marseille, Bar Sardine is a taste of Paris right here in North Texas.

As of March 23, 2025, the charming spot is now open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, offering an all-day menu filled with Parisian breakfast and lunch favorites.

Say Bonjour to Daytime Dining

The new menu includes a lineup of French staples that are both elegant and unfussy — think croque Monsieur with grey poupon, Belgian waffles topped with berries, eggs with smoked salmon and a Salade Niçoise that’s basically a vacation on a plate.

Feeling fancy? Try the saumon fumé with crème fraîche and capers. Feeling like avocado toast but with a beret? Go for the toast à l’avocat with whipped goat cheese and a soft egg.

The all-day service is walk-in only, perfect for those impromptu meet-ups or solo moments of indulgence. Seating is available both inside and out, so you can soak up a little sun along with your espresso.

Meet the Chef Behind the Menu

Eliott Azoulay, a Parisian native, relocated to Dallas specifically for this venture. Trained at the École Ducasse in Paris, his résumé includes time at La Fontaine de Mars and the three-star Michelin restaurant Le Petit Nice in Marseille. At Bar Sardine, he blends French technique with Mediterranean flair, resulting in food that’s approachable but far from boring.

From Paris With Love

Since its opening on Dec. 20, 2024, Bar Sardine has aimed to encapsulate the essence of a Parisian bistro. The goal: make every guest feel like they’ve just stumbled into a local café somewhere near Montmartre — without leaving University Park.

Reservations are still recommended for dinner, but the new all-day service is open for walk-ins only. So grab a friend (or don’t), order a waffle (or two), and take your time.
