Look up in the sky this weekend and you could see hot air balloons of all shapes, sizes, and colors as the InTouch Credit Union (ITCU) Plano Balloon Festival welcomes attendees to a three-day celebration of family fun!
Guests will be able to enjoy musical performances, delicious treats of all kinds, child-friendly entertainment, and the return of the ITCU interactive credit union experience when the gates of Oak Point Park open at 4:00 p.m. this Friday, September 21. A three-day schedule of events is planned through the weekend, and the ITCU team will be there throughout the festival to encourage attendees to discover more about the credit union movement, and possibly win a prize!
“The theme of this year’s festival is ‘Release your Inner Child,’ and that sense of wonder is a natural extension of the joy and fun the Plano Balloon Festival never fails to provide,” says ITCU Executive Vice President, Diane Gerstner. “For 11 years, ITCU has hosted this annual celebration, and we always look forward to the opportunity to interact with our members and folks from surrounding communities. We have a few new surprises in store for our booth this year, and we cannot wait to see new faces and our repeat visitors!”
Following last year’s engaging debut, ITCU will once again give visitors of all ages the change to walk through an interactive overview of the credit union. The journey starts with the putt putt prize challenge and ends with the prize tornado booth, making this attraction the perfect opportunity to learn more about the credit union.
Tickets will be available at the gates to the festival all weekend, but eager attendees can purchase their tickets at their local ITCU branch ahead of time. Event-goers are encouraged to look at their ticket backs for information about special InTouch offers.
