There’s a reason the Shelby Car Show keeps coming back! What started as a community event for LegacyTexas Bank in Plano has grown into a summer spectacle of 250 cars for 2,000 onlookers. The 7th annual show Shelby Car Show is Saturday, June 11 from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. at LegacyTexas, 5000 Legacy Drive in Plano.

The Shelby Car Show is put on in conjunction with the Shelby Cobra Association of Texas (SCAT). Each year, a certain car in Shelby history is chosen to be recognized. This year, the chosen car is the Ford GT, which Shelby American used to beat Ferrari in the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans race 50 years ago.

Entry is free, but to show off your ride and guarantee a spot in the show, registration is strongly recommended. The Shelby Car Show will also include a live band, food vendors and the Shelby Merchandise trailer.

Check out our exclusive interview with Aaron Shelby as seen in the June 2016 issue.
