Plano Campus To Host Collin College Art Student Invitational Exhibition

The exhibit features selected works from fine arts students during the 2023-2024 academic year

The Art Gallery at Collin College is gearing up to showcase the Collin College Art Student Invitational Exhibition from March 27 to April 10 at the Plano campus. This annual event will feature a curated selection of standout works created by students enrolled in the Fine Arts program during the 2023-2024 academic year.

The exhibition will spotlight diverse mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics and printmaking, providing insight into the creative endeavors of Collin College's talented students.

Located at Room A175, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano, the gallery will be open to the public, with a reception scheduled for Wednesday, April 10, from 4-7 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the artists and gain deeper insights into their inspirations and techniques.

On March 22, the college's Plano Campus hosted Science Under the Stars, a family-friendly carnival that explored various scientific disciplines. During the event, attendees engaged with local scientists and participated in immersive experiences.

The Plano campus is also hosting a workforce fair from March 25 to March 28. The fair will offer virtual and in-person sessions to inform attendees about degree and certificate programs tailored to meet the demands of today's job market.
