Warby Parker, a renowned eyewear retailer, will inaugurate its newest store at the Preston Park Colonnade in Plano this Saturday, July 20. This location will be the company's second in Plano. The company aims to broaden its reach within the community by providing comprehensive eye care services under one roof.

The new store will feature Warby Parker's complete range of optical and sun eyewear, including their latest Summer 2024 collection. Additionally, customers will have access to the company's daily contact lenses, Scout by Warby Parker, alongside a selection of third-party contacts and eye examination services.

In a unique nod to local artistry, the Preston Park Colonnade location will showcase vibrant, geometric murals created by Texas-raised artist Bailey Sullivan. To mark the grand opening, Warby Parker will offer special totes as a gift with purchase, adding an exclusive touch to the event. The store is located at 2101 Preston Rd., Suite B, Plano.

As reported previously by Local Profile, Warby Parker entered the glasses industry a decade ago with a mission to modernize it. Founded by Neil Blumenthal and Dave Gilboa, Warby Parker has disrupted the traditional eyewear market by providing stylish, affordable glasses directly to consumers through an innovative online platform. The company quickly gained a reputation for exceptional customer service and a youthful outlook on business, earning it the nickname "the Netflix of eyewear."

In a conversation with Local Profile, Blumenthal emphasized Warby Parker's unique position at the intersection of fashion, technology and social enterprise. "We believe in beautiful and functional design, leveraging tech to create amazing customer experiences, and that businesses can be good and moral," said Blumenthal. This philosophy is evident in the company's brick-and-mortar stores, which complement the online experience with local touches and personalized customer service.
