The second phase of a multimillion-dollar reinvention project underway at Canyon Creek Country Club in Richardson, Texas, wrapped up this week.

The latest round of renovations focused on making transformative changes to the private club’s golf course, in an effort to make it a hole-in-one experience for its members.

Among the improvements that were incorporated include lengthening the course and driving range; redesigned greens; the installation of new, more sustainable turf; the addition of laser-leveled tees at the driving range; an upgraded irrigation system; and more.

Canyon Creek Country Club will also open up a new dining experience for golf players this month.

Called The Boxcar — on account of it taking place in a literal repurposed boxcar — the new food and beverage attraction will provide both golfers and racquet players with convenient grab-and-go snack options when they are in need of a break.

Off the course, Canyon Creek is nearing completion of a revamped clubhouse, which will feature new bar and dining areas, a fitness center, an enhanced pro shop and more. Renovations are expected to be finished by summer 2024.

Invited, the owner and operator of Canyon Creek Country Club, says that the improvements will help to revitalize the member experience.

“Our Members now can enjoy a modern, fun, playable but challenging golf experience with enhancements throughout the course,” said Invited CEO David Pillsbury. “The transformation won’t stop at the course as the entire property and experience will be elevated. We aim to elevate every aspect of the Member experience and create a premier, family-first Club marked by unparalleled service and a full range of first-class amenities.”

This most recent phase of improvements is among several enhancements that have been completed throughout the private club.

Earlier this year, Canyon Creek debuted a new pickleball experience, as well as launched a new resort-style swimming pool.

“This reinvention plan is the most in-depth of its kind in our Club’s history. We encourage families, Members, and prospects alike to join this exciting journey with us,” said Lisa Neel, general manager of Canyon Creek Country Club. “We are thrilled for what this next chapter has in store for everyone who calls our club home, whether you’ve just moved to the area or are a long-time member of the family.”
