The Fort Worth Botanic Garden recently announced free admission on Juneteenth (June 19, 2024). Celebrate the holiday in the beautiful 120-acre garden.
"Juneteenth is a powerful day to honor African American history, strength, and progress," said Patrick Newman, Fort Worth Botanic Garden president and CEO. "We hope this opportunity will allow our guests to connect with nature, celebrate freedom, and envision a bright future together."

Sponsored by R Bank, the Juneteenth event will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with last admission at 5 p.m.
The botanic garden fosters inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility through a variety of events and services year-round. These include Japanese festivals, ¡Celebramos!, free admission days, the Museums4All Program for Lone Star EBT cardholders, reduced-rate access level memberships for SNAP/WIC recipients, MusePass through all Fort Worth Public Libraries, family community passes and free admission for Fort Worth ISD students every school day from 3 to 6 p.m. (excluding summer and holidays).
The Fort Worth Botanic Garden, the oldest botanic garden in Texas, is also celebrating its 90th birthday this year. Visitors can enjoy a serene walk through the Japanese Garden, featuring koi-filled pools and cascading waterfalls and admire the iconic Rose Garden with its terraced walkways and vibrant blooms.
