Celina's dining scene is about to welcome a new addition. The Forge 1912, a family-owned steakhouse and bar, is finalizing plans for its grand opening in May. Promising locally sourced ingredients and authentic Texan flavors, this establishment seeks to offer a straightforward yet memorable dining experience.

Their website describes The Forge 1912 as a blend of rustic charm and elegance, positioning itself as a cornerstone of downtown Celina. With a focus on quality, the steakhouse will feature prime cuts sourced from respected Texan ranchers like K Bar K Ranch and Range Hand Meat Co., along with Akaushi Wagyu from South Texas. Owner Kristen Ethridge confirmed the target opening month in an email, expressing enthusiasm for the upcoming launch.

Beyond its steaks, The Forge 1912 will offer a diverse menu, including appetizers like crab cakes and hearty Texas-style dinners such as herb-grilled chicken and pork chops.

Housed in a building that was Celina's original blacksmith shop in 1912, The Forge 1912 pays homage to its roots while embracing a modern approach to hospitality. The Ethridge family, who owns the steakhouse, is dedicated to creating a welcoming atmosphere reminiscent of the community spirit of yesteryears.
