The 15th Annual Burgers + Burgundy, a culinary fundraiser hosted by DIFFA Dallas, is set to take place on Oct. 10, 2024, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at The Village Dallas on the Glen Lawn. This gourmet event brings together top Dallas chefs, including Michelin-starred chef John Tesar, for an evening of creative sliders paired with fine wines, all in support of HIV/AIDS service organizations.
“It’s incredible to see how this event has grown over the past 15 years, not just in size but in the impact we’re making for a cause that means so much to us all,” said Tesar in an official statement. Other chefs joining him include Andrew Cardillo of the Sheraton Hotel, Aubrey Murphy of SER Steak + Spirits and Eduardo Osorio from Meridian at The Village, among others. Each chef will offer a unique take on the perfect slider, adding variety to the evening’s menu.
In addition to the culinary offerings, the event will announce the 2025 House of DIFFA theme and the new members of the Style Council. Guests can participate in a high-end raffle, featuring luxurious prizes like a weeklong trip to Cabo, private wine tastings and an exclusive dinner for four at Knife Steakhouse. Raffle tickets are available starting at $60, with VIP ticket holders eligible for discounted rates. A wine pull, offering guests the chance to win a premium bottle, will also be available for $25.
Individual tickets start at $95, with VIP tickets available for $140, offering enhanced benefits such as exclusive access to the VIP bar and discounted raffle tickets. Sponsorship opportunities range from $500 to $7,500, with each tier offering additional perks.
