The Star in Frisco will once again transform from the home of the Dallas Cowboys into the heart of country music as the Academy of Country Music Awards are set to take place live from the iconic Ford Center on May 8, marking the third consecutive year.

What To Expect
The 60th ACM Awards marks the third consecutive year the prestigious event will be held at Ford Center at The Star, home to the Dallas Cowboys. Opened in 2016, the venue serves as the Cowboys’ state-of-the-art practice facility and has hosted numerous major events, including the 2023 ACM Awards, which were the first to take place at this iconic location.
With Reba McEntire returning as host, this event promises to be a show like no other, featuring stunning performances from country music’s brightest stars — celebrating everything from the genre's rich history to its exciting future.
During the awards ceremony, some of country music's biggest stars will take the stage to perform their hits. Meanwhile, nominees will eagerly await the announcement of coveted titles like artist of the year, group of the year, song of the year and more.
“The bar has been set very high during the first two years of hosting Country Music’s Party of the Year,” Dallas Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones said in an official statement. “I think we all agree, though, that the upcoming Academy of Country Music Awards 60th show is going to exceed that bar.” Having an amazing icon of music and entertainment in Reba back for another year as host just sets this up to be one of the best ever and the Ford Center will be home to Country Music’s biggest and brightest stars once again.”

For those not subscribed to the ACM A-List, tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on February 21 through SeatGeek. Prices start as low as $100, plus taxes and fees.
ACM Awards Bring Big Names To Frisco
The 2024 ACM Awards, also featured Reba McEntire as host and 18 spectacular performances from artists like Blake Shelton, Post Malone, Chris Stapleton and Miranda Lambert, among many others.
The 60th Academy of Country Music Awards is produced by Dick Clark Productions, with Raj Kapoor serving as executive producer and showrunner. Additional details on nominees, performers and surrounding events will be revealed in the coming months.
Stay tuned: in recent years, country music stars have hosted nearby concerts for fans unable to attend the awards ceremony at places such as Parker McCollum at Top Golf. The Star also hosted the County Kickoff with free concerts featuring Ashley Cooke, Megan Moroney and more.
But the excitement begins well before the awards. The Star transforms into a vibrant country town, featuring murals of country music icons, interactive photo ops and more.
