2,200 Single-Family Homes Planned For Van Alstyne, Texas

Farmers Branch-based Centurion American Development Group recently unveiled plans for its new 667-acre development in Van Alstyne, which will be named Highpoint Village.

Highpoint Village, located along Mantua Parkway, Collin McKinney Parkway and County Road 222, will feature 2,200 homes and introduce a diverse range of home styles and price points to the rapidly expanding Collin-Grayson County corridor.

The residential community will offer two amenity centers spanning 4.4 acres, along with pocket parks and over 110 acres of green space across the single-family and townhouse neighborhoods. Additionally, a 20-acre athletic field, maintained by the city of Van Alstyne, will be included in the development.

Highpoint Village was financed with support from Trez Capital, which recognizes the significant impact the project could have on the region.

"Trez Capital and Centurion American have a shared commitment to developing thriving, sustainable communities,” said John Hutchinson, co-CEO and global head of origination at Trez Capital, in an official statement. "We have provided financing to Centurion American for multiple deals, and our combined expertise in real estate and ground-level perspective has yielded countless successful projects. We look forward to the launch of Centurion American’s next successful project in the town of Van Alstyne, a strategic location in Collin County that is still known for its small-town charm.”

Builders for the project include Ashton Woods, DR Horton, First Texas Homes, Lennar, Mattamy Homes, Pacesetter Homes and Pulte Homes. “We’ve brought together seven of the region’s top homebuilders to create Highpoint Village,” said Mehrdad Moayedi, CEO of Centurion American Development Group. “Mantua has a history in the region that goes all the way back to 1854, and we are proud to be a part of its future.”

Centurion American plans to break ground on the development in late 2024, with the first lots anticipated to be delivered to builders by the second quarter of 2026.
