A new segment of Fields Parkway officially opened to traffic, providing a vital connection between FM 423 and Teel Parkway in Frisco, Texas. According to an official statement, as of Oct. 21, 2024, this newly constructed four-lane concrete roadway replaces the former gravel road, Little Ranch Road, creating a continuous route that enhances access to the Dallas North Tollway.

With the completion of this roadway, the previously limited roundabout at the intersection of Teel Parkway and Fields Parkway is now fully operational. Drivers can utilize two lanes entering the roundabout from all four directions, an expansion from the previous one-lane configuration. Motorists are advised to be vigilant of the new entry and exit lanes, particularly for those approaching from the west.

Officials encourage drivers to exercise caution as the community adjusts to the updated traffic patterns. For additional information on navigating multi-lane roundabouts, a guide is available for drivers seeking clarification on the new layout.

This improvement to Fields Parkway is expected to alleviate congestion and enhance traffic flow, further facilitating movement within the growing city.
