On Nov. 4, 2023, Frisco will be playing host to the long-awaited Celebrity Softball Classic in support of veterans.
Taking place at Riders Field (7300 RoughRiders Trail, Frisco, TX 75034), the Celebrity Softball Classic is a fundraising event that brings professional athletes, musicians, actors, fitness models and more together to play a friendly game of softball and raise money for veterans’ services.
Among the big names that will be taking to the plate in this year's match include Nancy Lieberman (hall of fame basketball player), Marty Turco (former NHL player), Andre Rush (celebrity chef), Kristin Reed (supermodel), T-Ronn “Simply Badd” Hicks (hall of fame pro wrestler), Jake Bush (country musician), Patrick Crayton (former Cowboys wide receiver), Cristina Coria (TV personality, Survivor contestant), Jessica Meuse (musician, American Idol finalist) and Mercedes Peterson (television actor), to name a few.
Prior to the celebrity matchup, there will also be a veterans softball game taking place, featuring individuals who formerly served in the military, naval or air service, including the U.S. Army, U.S. Coast Guard, United States Marine Corps, among others.
Tickets for this event start at just $10. Gates to the event open to the public at 11 a.m., with the veteran's game scheduled to take place at 1 p.m., followed by the celebrity game at 3 p.m.
