With Halloween now in the past, and a jollier holiday quickly approaching, the Dallas Cowboys announced that they will once again be hosting the seventh annual Christmas at The Star beginning on Nov. 17 2023.
Taking place at The Star in Frisco, Christmas at The Star is a series of family-friendly events and experiences that take place throughout November and December amidst the holiday season.

“Christmas at The Star has quickly become one of our most treasured traditions for the Dallas Cowboys here at The Star in Frisco,” said Dallas Cowboys Chief Brand Officer Charlotte Jones. “Along with an exciting football season thus far, we cannot wait to host all of our Cowboys fans here for another great show during the most wonderful time of the year!”
The festivities kick off with the Cowboys Christmas Extravaganza, an electrifying 20-minute show that takes place every Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m., between Nov. 17 and Dec. 16. The outdoor show (at Tostitos Championship Plaza) features dazzling performances from the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, Dallas Cowboys Rhythm and Blue, the Cowboys Rookie Squad (kids dance crew) and many more.
Attendees of the Cowboys Christmas Extravaganza will also get to check out The Star’s 67-foot LED Christmas tree, which will be lit by a different Dallas Cowboys legend each evening, including Jerry Jones, DeMarcus Ware, Darren Woodson and Tyron Smith, to name a few.
For the third year in a row, Kris Kringle will be touching down in the city of Frisco to make everyone’s holiday wishes come true during Santa at The Star. From Nov. 17 to Dec. 24, North Texas residents will get the opportunity to visit with Santa Claus at a Dallas Cowboys-themed cottage, located in the heart of The Star District.
In addition to showing Jolly Old Saint Nick their Christmas lists, visitors will also be able to take a picture with the holiday legend, with photo packages including a printed 5x7 photo and an exclusive Cowboys gift for every child. While walk-ins are available (with limited availability), North Texans are recommended to book an appointment in advance to guarantee their visit with Santa Claus.
Finally, following each Cowboys Christmas Extravaganza show every Friday and Saturday, The Star will be offering Christmas-themed guided tours of the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters. During the 45-minute tour, guests will receive a takeaway Santa hat and a limited-edition Dallas Cowboys ornament, which should put everyone in the holiday spirit.
