The city of Celina's Public Works Department is set to commence essential road maintenance on South Kentucky Drive, with repairs scheduled from Oct. 22 to Nov. 5, 2024. This maintenance project, contracted to Apple Pavement Services, will span from West Oak Street to West Main Street.
According to a post shared by the city, during this period, motorists may encounter limited two-way traffic in the construction zone. A contractor will be present to direct traffic, ensuring safety and minimizing disruptions. Traffic will not be permitted, but local access will remain available.
As previously reported by Local Profile, the city partnered with the Waze app to provide real-time updates on road closures to help residents navigate potential travel delays. Residents are encouraged to utilize the Waze Live Map to view ongoing conditions and adjustments. The updated road closures map can be accessed here.
