Bricks & Minifigs To Open In Frisco, Texas

A new store specializing in all things LEGO will be opening a North Texas location in the Starwood Village this January. Bricks & Minifigs (BAM), the largest franchised toy store of its kind, will be located at 6363 N Dallas Parkway, Suite 108 in Frisco.

Opened by Frisco resident Juan Carlos Martin, the store offers new and used LEGO sets, bulk bricks and minifigures (“minifigs”) to buy, sell and trade.

To celebrate the new location, BAM will be hosting a grand opening celebration on Jan. 27, with prizes and giveaways for LEGO-fans. The first 100 customers through the door will receive a free customized “Bricks & Minifigs Frisco” minifig. Raffle tickets will also be given out all day with drawings to win a LEGO set every hour.

“LEGO is an ageless toy that appeals not only to children, but also to parents, grandparents, and anyone who enjoys creative expression through those little plastic bricks,” said Martin. “As a Frisco resident myself, I wanted to build a place where fans of all ages could come together and share their passion for everyone’s favorite toy.”

BAM built its brand based on three principals: rebuild, with tens of thousands of pieces to choose from, customers will have what they need to rebuild their favorite sets or create their own original projects; reuse, BAM buys, sells and trades everything LEGO; and reimagine, staff members are trained to assist customers of all ages to create unique and imaginative masterpieces.

BAM Frisco will provide an event space for birthday parties, after-school engineering clubs and groups, “Make-and-Take” events, Brick Derby races and more. The space will also be available for corporate workshops, mini-retreats and team-building off-site meetings. Parties and events booked during the grand opening weekend will receive a 20% discount off standard booking rates.

Customers will also be able to sign up for the Founders Club, a unique membership program offering discounts across new and used sets. Founders Club also offers an entry into the third-anniversary raffle for a chance to win a trip to LEGO House in Denmark.
