Batbox, an immersive baseball simulator experience, is opening in Addison, Texas in 2025. The 13,000-square-foot sports entertainment concept celebrates baseball by merging simulated gameplay with a vibrant sports bar atmosphere.
Experience baseball like never before with customizable players and a variety of exciting game modes and online tournaments. Choose from a three, six, or nine-inning game, participate in a home run derby, test your skills in the pitching challenge, or compete in the Batting Challenge. Each of the 10 batting bays, powered by Strikezon technology, can accommodate up to 18 players.
"While baseball enjoys a rich history and a passionate fan base, there has been a significant gap in immersive, interactive experiences that rejuvenate the sport,” Craig Winning, COO of Batbox, said in an official statement. "Batbox addresses this gap by offering a fun and exciting alternative, providing a fresh approach for both baseball enthusiasts and entertainment fans alike."
Batbox will also include a sports bar. The Premium Social Hub caters to avid sports enthusiasts, featuring VIP booths, communal seating and multi-screen viewing — perfect for cheering on your favorite team.
Batbox plans to offer an exceptional and upscale food and beverage menu that perfectly complements the excitement and camaraderie of baseball. Inspired by the complete baseball stadium experience, the elevated menu features your favorite ballpark eats, reminiscent of those enjoyed at your favorite Major League Stadium.
The Major League beverages include ingredient-forward mixed drinks with culinary-style preparation for a sensational taste experience. The venue will also offer local craft drafts, custom ready-to-drink cocktails and mixology-inspired non-alcoholic options.
Batbox, founded in Mexico in 2019, recently secured $7.3 million in Series A funding, the company's first significant round of venture capital financing. This investment will support its expansion into the U.S., with plans for over 25 locations in major baseball markets, including Dallas, Houston and Boston.
"Our immersive simulators and high-quality service have made Batbox a popular destination across Mexico, with a growing number of locations showcasing our ability to attract diverse audiences and create memorable experiences," said Jose Vargas, Founder and CEO of Batbox. "This success is a testament to our innovative approach and our commitment to delivering excellence."
