Tande Thai, a new modern Thai restaurant, announced that it is opening its first-ever location in The Colony, Texas, this spring. Located at Grandscape, Tande Thai promises an exceptional dining experience that is "reminiscent of a luxurious Thai resort."
The restaurant offers a diverse, innovative menu that blends traditional Thai flavors with contemporary culinary techniques. Among the eatery’s offerings include pork belly lettuce wraps and braised short ribs in Panang curry sauce, as well as unique, refreshing cocktails like the coconut water-infused old-fashioned.
At the heart of the restaurant’s delectable dishes is Chef Paul Imjard, whose time training at the prestigious cooking school Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, France, as well as his background in Bangkok's culinary landscape, have shaped Tande Thai’s elevated creations.
Chef Imjard's journey to Tande Thai began with his family's foray into the food and beverage industry a decade ago, which ignited his passion for sharing Thai flavors with the world.
“At Tande Thai, ‘Eat Well, Live Well’ isn't just a motto; it's a way of life, as the name Tande means ‘eat well’ in Thai,” said Imjard. “We are committed to providing high-quality, authentic Thai cuisine that nourishes both the body and soul. Drawing upon my roots and culinary journey, I have curated a menu that showcases the essence of Thai flavors, with ingredients sourced directly from Thailand to ensure an unmatched taste profile for our guests.”
After a successful 15-year career in engineering and investment management, Chef Imjard followed his culinary calling and is now ready to showcase his native culture's cuisine with the people of North Texas.
