Shipley Do-Nuts, a popular donut brand in the U.S., recently opened the doors to its latest location in Frisco on Feb. 6, 2024. Located at 8155 Custer Road #100, the new 2,000-square-foot shop offers the same, freshly-baked treats that the Shipley Do-Nuts company is renowned for.
The North Texas store’s offerings are highlighted by its iconic plain glazed donut, in addition to filled, iced and cake do-nuts, bear claws, coffee and more.
The Frisco location also features a number of specialty baked goods such as kolaches, a Czech pastry that was made popular in Texas and Shipley’s own delectable creation, the “POPTASTIC Do-nut,” which is made with colorful freeze-dried Skittles.
Founded in Houston back in 1936, Shipley Do-Nuts is one of the nation’s oldest and largest donut brands.
The company currently has over 350 locations throughout 12 American states, including several in Texas — with the Frisco store being the first to open in the Collin County city.
The Frisco location is owned and operated by Breaktime Donuts, a multi-unit franchise group of Shipley Do-Nuts.
"We initiated our expansion with Shipley due to its unparalleled quality and beloved donuts,” said Wasim Khawja, co-owner of Breaktime Donuts. “As avid admirers of the Shipley brand, we look forward to adding Frisco to our portfolio of five existing locations."
Shipley Do-Nuts in Frisco is open daily from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. and offers in-store, drive-thru and delivery services.
