Rodeo Goat, celebrated for its house-ground patties, cold beer, moonshine cocktails and welcoming atmosphere, is expanding to Addison.
Set to open this fall, the new location will be at 14941 Midway Road, in the former Spring Creek BBQ near Beltline Road. The 6,000-square-foot venue will offer plenty of space for indoor and outdoor patio dining, as well as a standalone bar.
“Everyone was asking for a Rodeo Goat in Addison and we listened,” said Shannon Wynne, co-founder of Rodeo Goat. “The newly renovated Midway Road with a network of running trails is the perfect spot. Additionally, our Flying Saucer Beerknurds will have a new place to grab a beer.”
The menu boasts over 20 cleverly named burger options, including the popular Billy F. Gibbons, a beef patty topped with candied bacon, caramelized onions, gouda, mango pico, cream cheese spread and Trailboss habanero salsa. Another favorite is the Chaca Oaxaca, featuring a beef and chorizo patty with avocado spread, pico de gallo, fried egg, queso fresco and Tabasco mayo. Additionally, the menu includes tribute burgers named after local personalities.
Vegetarian options are also available, including the Neil Young, which features a homemade vegan patty, hydroponic sprouts, beefsteak tomato, avocado and green goddess dressing. All burgers can be customized with chicken, turkey, vegan or Impossible patties. The menu also includes salads, hand-punched cheese fries (with or without a surprise), brisket chili, goat balls and milkshakes.
The extensive drink menu offers domestic and imported brews, with a large selection of Texas craft beers, a variety of wines available by the glass and a quirky cocktail menu. Signature drinks include the fainting goat, made with Revolver Blood and Honey, vodka and orange juice, and the moontang, featuring Firefly Moonshine, Tang and "other things."
