Wine enthusiasts are invited to an exclusive evening at Margaret’s, located within the JW Marriott Dallas Arts District, on Friday, July 12. This event showcases a collaboration with the esteemed Kelleher Family Vineyard of Oakville, CA.

Starting at 6:30 p.m., guests will engage in a discussion led by Valerie Kelleher Herzog, vineyard owner, sommelier Joel Tennyson and Executive Chef Jonah Friedmann. They will explore the history of the 16-acre vineyard established in 1994 and discover the inspiration behind the evening’s five-course menu designed to complement six exclusive wines.

Margaret’s, situated on the 11th floor of the JW Marriott at 800 North Harwood Street, offers an intimate setting for this culinary experience. Tickets are $300 per person and can be purchased here.

Throughout the evening, attendees will participate in insightful discussions about the vineyard’s unique terroir and its influence on their wine blends. Chef Friedmann’s dishes, using ingredients sourced within 80 miles of the hotel, highlight these distinctive wine characteristics.

“We are excited for guests to experience the flavors of these wines, influenced by the land on which they are produced, paired with our locally sourced menu,” said Friedmann in an official statement. “It combines the best of local ingredients with fine dining techniques, precise service, and elegant presentation.”

A highlight of the evening is the opportunity to purchase Kelleher Family Vineyards vintages, exclusive to this event and unavailable elsewhere in Texas. Featured wines include a 2012 cabernet sauvignon with a unique history involving eucalyptus trees as wind barriers and a 2021 rosé of pinot noir, crafted exclusively for a family wedding and previously unavailable outside Napa Valley.
