Maestro Héctor Guzmán and the Plano Symphony Orchestra (PSO) are keeping the magic alive in their 2024/2025 season, New Beginnings, with A Broadway Valentine. This enchanting concert takes the stage on Feb. 15, at the Robinson Fine Arts Center, starring renowned Broadway talent.

Big Talent Will Grace The Stage
Over the years, the PSO has showcased incredible artists performing the very best of Broadway, and this concert is no exception. Taking center stage are three phenomenal singers: Alli Mauzey, LaKisha Jones and Jason Forbach.
Meet the stars:
Alli Mauzey recently starred on Broadway in the acclaimed Kimberly Akimbo. Her impressive credits include Glinda in Wicked, Ernestina in the Tony-winning Hello, Dolly!, Lenora in Cry-Baby (earning a Theatre World Award and Drama League nomination) and Brenda in Hairspray both on Broadway and its First National Tour.
LaKisha Jones, a top-four finalist on American Idol (2007), has shined on stage and screen. She starred as Sophia in Broadway’s The Color Purple, sharing the role with her mentor, Chaka Khan, and joined Khan's 35th Anniversary Tour. Jones has also collaborated with renowned producers like Tony Nicholas, Ro & Sauce and Greg Curtis.
Jason Forbach’s versatile career spans opera, symphony and Broadway. He recently earned acclaim for stepping in as The Baker on opening night of the 2022 Into the Woods revival and currently plays Rapunzel’s Prince on its National Tour. His credits also include Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera and Enjolras in the Tony-nominated revival of Les Misérables.

Audiences will be treated to iconic classics like “Begin the Beguine” (Porter), “I Could Have Danced All Night” (My Fair Lady), “The Impossible Dream” (Man of La Mancha), “Defying Gravity” (Wicked) and “All I Ask of You” (The Phantom of the Opera) in this journey through Broadway’s greatest hits.
