Minnie’s Food Pantry is a community-minded local food pantry with a nationwide presence. The pantry relies solely on individuals, corporations and organizations that have seen the impact that they have made on the lives of the people they serve and want to help contribute.
The mission of Minnie’s Food Pantry is: “To provide healthy, nutritious meals and resources by way of red carpet treatment to families in need, after all, everyone deserves to be treated like a celebrity!”
Minnie’s has expanded over the years. There are programs in place to feed hungry people all over Plano and beyond. Minnie’s delivers food to the Day Labor Center for those looking for work. Minnie’s Mobile Pantry, delivers food to senior citizens. Minnie’s Food Pantry Breakfast Club provides breakfast food for school children.
To date, Minnie’s Food Pantry has provided over 4 million meals to families in need. They have been featured on:

- Hunger Hits Home (Food Network documentary)
The annual gala sells out each year to individuals and supporters from the community and beyond. In the past, attendees have included: DeVon Franklin, Megan Good, Regina King, Michelle Williams, Devin Harris, Emmitt Smith, Tony Dorsett, Kenny Latimore and other celebrities and advocates.
The honorees this year will include: Jan Miller (Dupree Miller and Associates), Devin Harris (Dallas Mavericks), and Carol Roberts with Albertsons as our corporate sponsor!
