New eatery + movie theater open in McKinney this September

Get a bite and watch the newest craze on the big screen! Austin-based Moviehouse & Eatery opens their newest location in McKinney at Craig Ranch on September 22.

McKinney is home to the chain’s third North Texas branch along with Keller and Flower Mound. The original opened in Austin in 2012. Find the newest location at the McKinney Towne Crossing shopping center, at the intersection of State Highway 121 and Exchange Parkway near Craig Ranch.

The theater features 10 screens (the second largest of the chain, trailing just behind Austin who has 11) with reserved seating, comfy recliners, wall-to-wall screens, state-of-the-art movie technology and food and beverage service at the push of a button. Gather with friends for a pre- or post-movie adult beverage in the lobby’s full-service bar.

McKinney is a perfect spot for parties or corporate events since it has two unique theaters that are smaller than average, holding 40 to 50 seats. They also have an extra large theater, fitting over 165 recliners along with the greatest amount of seats than any of the four branches.
