More than 600 friends, associates and residents of HarborChase of Plano, a local assisted living and memory care community, had their “passports” stamped on Thursday, August 11 during a grand opening celebration themed “Passport Around the World.” Following a dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony, a reception featured a different country and culture at each of HarborChase’s five dining venues. The countries included Scotland, Italy, Ireland, Costa Rica and Turkey. Guests were encouraged to collect stamps for their “passport” at each of the stations to earn prizes. One winner received two nights at the Gaylord Texan resort.
“We truly love the Plano community and we’re very excited to host this grand opening celebration, as we formally open the doors of HarborChase of Plano,” said Executive Director Kathleen Storey. “We look forward to providing the families of Plano with the best in senior living for many years to come.”
