On Sunday, June 5, community residents dined, danced and drank at the second annual Night Out on 15th event. Historic Downtown Plano Association (HDPA) and Plano Profile teamed up with an assortment of Downtown Plano venues to deliver this outdoor, fine dining affair.

The evening started with a cocktail hour at McCall Plaza, accompanied by hors d’oeuvres. Homemade treats were also handed out by HIPsters and staff from the local nonprofit, My Possibilities.

Richmond Punch, a local musician and violinist serenaded the hundreds of guests who sat at the 300-foot-long, white-clothed table setup in the middle of 15th Street in Downtown Plano. Mayor Harry LaRosiliere, many City of Plano employees and council members, and Real Housewives of Dallas star Brandi Redmond were a few of this year’s attendees.

During dinner, Alex Hargis, the HDPA executive director, welcomed all to a night of fun with neighbors and gave away raffle prizes to lucky winners.

Serving the five-course meal were students from Café Momentum, a nonprofit dedicated to helping underprivileged youth through culinary avenues.

Over 15 food items and countless beverage options were provided by 10-plus restaurants from the Downtown Plano Arts District, along with North Texas breweries and alcohol companies. Night Out on 15th pleased all appetites by offering everything from lobster ravioli to smoked BBQ to cake balls, to draft beer, wine or cocktails. The night was capped with whiskey cocktails, and cigars provided by a Downtown Plano vendor.

To top off all thing’s great about the event, a portion of the proceeds went to several nonprofit organizations.
