You and your pup are invited! The Mat Yoga Studio in Dallas presents DOGA (yoga with your dog) Sunday, May 1 benefiting Operation Kindness.

Celebrate the first day of National Pet Week, tend to your health, and give back all in one in event. The DOGA class taught by Rene Hawthorne will be held from 1–2 p.m. at 18660 Fortson Avenue in Dallas at the park in the neighborhood just north of the studio. Park at The Mat and walk to the park.

Bring a yoga mat, towel and water for both you and your dog! Also, bring a leash to keep your furry friend close by. All donations will be given to Operation Kindness.

Yoga emphasizes connection with other beings. DOGA is a perfect stress reducer and bonding time for both owner and pet. The class includes a deep relaxation and connection through yoga, meditation and breathing techniques for deep relaxation and deep connection.Rene Hawthorne will have modifications and suggestions for dogs of any size, so don’t hesitate to come no matter how big or small.
