Jasper's Opening in Richardson

The famous Kent Rathbun has done it again. No, it’s not a new restaurant concept, but it is a new Jasper’s location opening in Richardson!

Jasper’s is known for simple food with the style of gourmet backyard cuisine. All dishes are created from comfort-food recipes with a chef’s twist, and completely from scratch. Get a taste of dishes such as slow-smoked, fall off the bone, melt in your mouth baby back ribs or the always popular rotisserie prime rib with Maytag Blue Cheese Potato Chips. Everything is made with magic dust, from soups to desserts, flatbread, creamy baked potato salad, shrimp ‘n’ grits, and smoked gouda & ham mac and cheese.

Taste buds are constantly doing the happy dance at Jasper’s. As for the restaurant itself, it will feature a casual design with a modern outdoors theme. Jasper’s will cater to social and business guests with a board room and private dining room that’s great for presentations or social events, but the Richardson location will also include an outdoor dining area and energetic bar and lounge creating an unbeatable place to relax and enjoy with friends and family.

“When I first created the Jasper’s concept, my goal was to develop a restaurant where guests could enjoy an unforgettable meal whether looking for a casual or high-end dining experience and that’s exactly what I did,” said Executive Chef Kent Rathbun. “Ten years later and three Jasper’s restaurants operating in Plano, Austin and The Woodlands, Texas, the journey of creativity and growth has exceeded my expectations. Opening a fourth location in the Richardson area further advances my career goal and I am extremely excited about what the future holds.”
