For over 20 years, Rail~Volution has been on a mission to build more livable communities with transit, and where better than downtown Plano to showcase just how wonderful the reality of a destination connected by rail?
Historic Downtown Plano is certainly one of the best connected destinations in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex with shops, homes, restaurants, bars and even a nail spa just steps away from the Downtown Plano Dart station.
On Sunday October 25, the Rail~Volution Conference kicked off with a visit to Downtown Plano, perfectly timed to coincide with the Steinfest (click here for photos). Members of the conference were met by Frank Turner, Deputy City Manager for the City of Plano, who conducted a tour of downtown before leaving the group to enjoy the festive atmosphere (and plenty of beers) of Steinfest 2015.
