Christ United Methodist Church Children’s Discover Center will host a family education evening seminar on the importance of brain health and development in children on Wednesday, November 4.
Parenting expert and psychotherapist, Dr. Kelly Jameson, will walk through the delicate construction of young brain development and provide early steps parents can take to promote healthy maturity and recognize obstacles that can interfere with the growing process.
During the parents’ seminar, children are invited to participate in fun brain-stretching activities and games centered around the book, Your Fantastic Elastic Brain by JoAnn Deak, in the Children’s Discover Center.
