Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery (THCDS) recently won the Foodservice Sanitation Excellence Award from the City of Plano. The Award recognizes establishments that display the highest standards in food safety, sanitation, and food handling. Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery was selected the winner in the “Hospitals” category.

The award criteria includes, but is not limited to: maintaining a score of “A” on all routine inspections, zero critical violations on a routine inspection, zero valid complaints, and no enforcement closures or municipal court citations.

“We are proud of our foodservice department,” said Larry Robertson, president of THCDS. “This award is a testament to the commitment of our chef, Tony Robles, and his team to provide a safe, clean environment for preparing patient meals. Food safety is always a top priority of ours.”

Congratulations to Chef Tony and his team, who were presented with the award last month at a City of Plano meeting.
