Have you ever wondered how wonderful it would be to celebrate a special occasion at the beautiful Oak Point Park? Well this Friday October 8, The City of Plano will be inaugurating the Oak Point Nature & Retreat Center which will serve exactly that purpose.

The new 7,000 square foot facility with 2,400 square feet of meeting/rental space as well as interactive nature exhibits, will overlook the majestic beauty of Oak Point Park & Nature Preserve, making it the most unique venue in Plano for special gatherings like weddings, parties, corporate retreats, business meetings and much more. Just imagine the photo opportunities!

Approved by voters in the 2005 Bond Election as part of the continued development of Oak Point Park & Nature Preserve, the total cost of the project, including design, construction, furniture and equipment was $5.5 million.
