The legendary Southfork Ranch, known as the iconic backdrop for the hit TV show Dallas, has a spooky surprise planned for Halloween. On Oct. 31, 2024, this opulent mansion will transform into the scene of an extraordinary affair — a masquerade-themed murder-mystery dinner.
Step into the Billionaire’s Club Masquerade Ball and take on the challenge of solving the crime. Mingle with other guests, exchange clues and piece together the puzzle before the masked villain vanishes into the night. Can you identify the guilty party and restore order to the glamorous event?
Guests are invited to wear elegant evening attire, with ball gowns, Venetian masks, suits or tuxedos adding to the air of sophistication and suspense at this thrilling night of intrigue and murder. This exclusive event is open to those 21 and older. Seating is communal, so larger parties are encouraged to arrive early to ensure they can sit together.
As guests immerse themselves in the evening's mystery, they'll be treated to a three-course meal designed to elevate the experience. The dinner begins with a salad of sweet spring greens, praline pecans, crisp Granny Smith apples, cherry tomatoes and blue cheese, all drizzled with a tangy pomegranate vinaigrette.
For the entrée, guests will select their dish upon making a reservation. Choices include grilled marinated angus beef kebobs served with lyonnaise potatoes and oven-roasted root vegetables, or a ginger habanero glazed chicken breast, complemented by roasted pineapple and mango chutney, garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed green beans.
The evening concludes with a choice of desserts — either a classic peach pie or a rich chocolate lava cake. Non-alcoholic beverages are included with dinner, along with a complimentary glass of red or white wine. Additional drinks can be purchased.
Tickets for the murder mystery dinner are priced at $125 per person, which includes fees, gratuity and tax. Tickets must be purchased in advance through sfmurdermystery.eventbrite.com.
