North Texas Gun Store Sales Increase 300% With Israel-Hamas Conflict

As tension continues to grow in Israel and Gaza, a North Texas gun salesman reports gun sales are reaching an all-time high at several of his locations.

According to WFAA, David Prince at Eagle Gun Range in Farmers Branch and Lewisville said there was a 300% increase in gun sales at both locations immediately following the recent attack in Israel. He said that lately, the clientele consists mainly of Jewish individuals. One customer, Jake, told Prince he visited the Farmers Branch facility to grow his skills at the shooting range, in fear of being attacked for practicing his religion.

"It's been a really big change this last three or four days," Prince told WFAA. "The people coming in and saying they are scared for their lives, because of their religion they are expecting to be attacked."

Since the Oct. 7 attack, over 1,400 Israelis have been killed and approximately 200 were taken hostage.

Prince said that he intends to offer defensive weaponry to individuals who pass background checks and also promote the importance of them receiving training at one of his facilities.

"As long as they want to protect themselves and their families, that's all we care about," Prince said. "We don't care about anything else. We sell them for defensive purposes and that's what we're here for."

AP reported that over one million individuals have evacuated the Gaza Strip in anticipation of an impending Israeli invasion aimed at ousting Hamas' leadership following its lethal incursion.

"We all want peace at the end of the day. That's all we want," Jake told WFAA. "That's the main thing that we hope for. That's all we want for our families and for our nations."
