First Look: HALL Park Hotel

With the recent grand opening of Kaleidoscope Park, HALL Park is introducing its latest feature — HALL Park Hotel, an Autograph Collection Hotel.

With 224 rooms, the new hotel caters to both short-term and extended stays, with a focus on business travelers, event attendees and regional staycationers. As an art-centric establishment, its walls and corridors will feature world-class art pieces.

Local Profile visited the hotel on Oct. 7, 2024, before it opened to the public for a ribbon-cutting ceremony. As an art-focused hotel, the walls and corridors showcase world-class artwork with unique pieces around the space.

“When planning our long-term vision for Hall Park, we identified the need for a full-service, upscale boutique hotel in the heart of our new mixed-use development phase,” said Craig Hall, chairman and founder of HALL Group. “Great thought went into every detail of the HALL Park Hotel, from the diverse art collection to the food and beverage offerings, and we look forward to welcoming both visitors to Frisco and locals to enjoy all the hotel and the adjacent park have to offer.”

During the sneak peek event, HALL Park invited guests to explore the space while listening to live music and enjoying drinks and hors d'oeuvres.

But the real surprise was the view, from the seventh floor, guests can overlook Frisco and the brand-new Kaleidoscope Park, which opened on Oct. 5, 2024.

“Framed by views of the art-filled Kaleidoscope Park, which is currently underway, hotel guests will be able to experience Frisco not only as a business and sports hub but also as an emerging arts and culture destination,” previously said Craig Hall, chairman and CEO of HALL Group.

The hotel also features an outdoor pool with chaise-style chairs for relaxing in the sun. If guests hope to enjoy other features during their stay, they can enjoy a 4,000-square-foot ballroom, fitness center, restaurant, lounge and a spacious patio.

In September, HALL Park announced the executive chef for the restaurant, Eric Sakai, and Sophie Candia as executive pastry chef. Diners can expect Palato Italian Kitchen and Lounge to bring an authentic Italian experience with its signature dishes, seasonal menus and house-made pasta. Palato serves regional Italian cuisine alongside a diverse array of craft cocktails and an extensive wine list, featuring selections from HALL Wines.

The restaurant’s exhibition-style kitchen, open-air layout, stone hearth oven, central bar and spacious outdoor patio create a dynamic dining environment. Adjacent to Palato, the lounge offers an intimate space perfect for happy hours and nightcaps, delivering a vibrant dining experience in the heart of Frisco.
