Dogs Stuck In Pond Rescued By Frisco Fire Department, Animal Services

In a heroic venture, the Frisco Fire Department, along with animal services, rescued two dogs stuck in a retention pond.

According to the Frisco Fire Department, on July 5, several firefighters helped Frisco Animal Services retrieve two dogs trapped in a holding pond.

Both dogs were rescued and transferred to animal services in order to attempt to contact their owners. The Frisco Fire Department reported that the dogs were in “good spirits,” despite being covered in mud.

Frisco Police Media Relations Grant Cottingham told Local Profile the two dogs were returned to their owners.

“These two doggos found themselves stuck in a retention pond,” Frisco police said in a Facebook post. “Animal Services, with an assist from the Frisco Fire Department, was able to bring them to safety. Aside from being a furry mess, both are doing just fine!”
