Country's Largest Hot Springs Resort Planned For Grandscape In The Colony

Grandscape in The Colony is gearing up to introduce its latest attraction: WorldSprings, a wellness spa-amusement park spanning nine acres of outdoor mineral springs. Visitors can look forward to experiencing this unique destination when it opens its doors in March of 2024.

According to WorldSprings, 45 famed mineral pools( both hot and cold) are grouped in four pods representing more than 20 countries from around the world, each with architecture, food and drink that corresponds to that region. Pods include the Americas Pod, Asiatic Pod, European Pod and South Pacific Pod.

Included in the various amenities is a family pool and a "Dead Sea Float Pool,” catering to customers aged 18 and above. The center will also provide a range of classes, including aqua aerobics and aqua yoga. Guests at the spa will have access to a wide array of services, including massages, body treatments, cryotherapy, hyperbaric chambers and compression therapy.

But, there are no actual hot springs in Grandscape — the pools will be "meticulously crafted to mirror the mineral content of legendary springs from around the world.” The North Texas park closely resembles the offerings of Glenwood Springs, Colorado, and shares a comparable concept with a location in La Verkin, Utah, near Zion National Park.

The resort will use technology to make guest experiences easier. Heat maps will be available for guests to determine and guide guests to pools that are more or less occupied. Drinks can be ordered for poolside delivery with your smartphone. Fast check-in is also available with easy-to-use RFID bracelets that allow for locker use and tap-to-pay.

Both memberships and three-hour passes will be on offer, designed to cater to a wide range of individuals looking to make well-being a weekly ritual, although specific pricing details have not been revealed yet. A limited number of discounted Founding Memberships will also become available in the early months of next year.
