Wicked Butcher Opens In Downtown Dallas

The Beef Carpaccio at Wicked Butcher

Wicked Butcher, an acclaimed steakhouse in Fort Worth, held a grand opening this week for its brand-new sister restaurant in Downtown Dallas.

Located at the iconic Comerica Bank Tower, the newly-opened Dallas steakhouse looks to carry the torch of the original Fort Worth location, which has garnered numerous awards such as Fort Worth Magazine’s Best Steakhouse 2023 and Fort Worth Weekly’s Reader’s Choice Awards in the same year.

DRG Concepts, a Dallas-based holding company that also resides in Comerica Bank Tower, was behind the establishment of Wicked Butcher Dallas, coming up with the menu and designing the expansion restaurant.

The meaty menu boasts several mouth-watering dishes such as Beef Carpaccio, Short Rib Hummus, Truffled Eggs, Cacio E Pepe, Craft Japanese Wagyu, Beef Wellington, Lobster Bucatini and more. Complementing the culinary delights is an extensive craft cocktail and wine menu.

On the design front, Wicked Butcher Dallas’ interior offers a seamless fusion of old and new, with inspiration drawing from the “urban cowboy aesthetic,” according to the restaurant. The restaurant consists of bright, glossy brick and tile, accented with timeless brass fixtures, natural woods, beautiful marbles and modern Texas textures.

According to DRG Concepts, the restaurant aimed to create an atmosphere that can cater to a wide range of clientele — accommodating guests for everything from business gatherings to social events, to name a few.

“We look forward to our guests’ enjoying the Wicked Butcher Dallas experience with our delicious new offerings in a very exciting and fun modern Texas setting in Comerica Tower and Downtown Dallas,” said Nafees Alam, CEO of DRG Concepts. “Our team has worked together to design a special and welcoming destination, with an inspiring, comfortable environment – our modern Texas steakhouse with great flavors and outstanding service all around.”

J. Paul Sharp, the managing director of TriGate Capital, LLC (owner of Comerica Bank Tower), said that Wicked Butcher will make for an exciting addition to the Downtown Dallas skyscraper.

“We are beyond excited about the opening of Wicked Butcher Dallas in Comerica Bank Tower,” said Sharp. “DRG Concepts has been a tenant for nearly 15 years and we were thrilled when they decided to add this concept as the newest amenity to the Main Street corridor.”

Wicked Butcher Dallas is open for lunch Monday – Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and for dinner Monday – Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., beginning on Jan. 22. Fridays and Saturdays will also extend until midnight with an added Late Night menu. The restaurant is located at 1717 Main St, Dallas.
