With the month of September drawing closer to its conclusion, Dallas Italian restaurant Monarch has announced a pair of new menu items that it will be offering in the fall.
Throughout the month of October, in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Monarch will be raising funds for the cause by selling a special limited-time cocktail.
The cocktail, called “Feel the Fizzle,” is a refreshing concoction of hibiscus-infused Grey Goose vodka, rose syrup, rose water, coconut cream, lemon juice and soda.
Monarch says that for each time the specialty cocktail is ordered, it will donate one dollar to The Bridge Breast Network, a local organization that provides diagnostic and treatment services to low-income, uninsured, or underinsured individuals.
Feel the Fizzle was crafted by Monarch bartender, Bryan Reyes. Reyes says that he is honored to have concocted a cocktail that will go towards helping others in the community.
"I'm passionate about creating cocktails and blending unique flavor combinations,” said Reyes. “Using my skills to give back to charity makes it even more rewarding. Knowing that my guests enjoy the drinks while helping the community is fulfilling."
Another menu item that guests will only be available to indulge in throughout October is the appropriately fall-inspired pumpkin spice latte souffle.
Inspired by everyone’s favorite seasonal latte flavor this time of year, the heavenly souffle dessert consists of pumpkin spice, coffee crème anglaise and sweet cream ice cream.
In addition to its new menu features, Monarch will also be offering complimentary sparkling Rosé — instead of its usual champagne offerings — during elevator rides up to the restaurant as a way of helping raise awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
