The ArtCentre of Plano will continue their series of wine-tastings with a journey to Greece. Enjoy an evening with Stephen Roussos, Greek wine importer, from R&R Selections, and enjoy learning about the variety of Greek wines.
Greek wine has existed for millennia, but over the last few decades it has experienced a revival and these exciting wines are exceptional, exciting and delicious. Underrepresented in the U.S. market, Greek wines are being rediscovered for their extraordinary quality and uniqueness. Come explore compelling and captivating Greek wines!
Guests will learn about the Greek varietals while sampling. Light refreshments from Central Market will also be served.
Hailing from Athens and Santorini, Greece, Roussos earned a Ph.D. in Biology, specializing in Herpetology. Prior to his full-time commitment to wine importation, he shared his knowledge through university instruction.
Roussos specializes in sales, sales operations and fostering company growth. He collaborates with distributors to craft and refine strategies, bolster individual markets, and utilize analytics for targeted brand success monitoring. With eight years of expertise in expanding the Greek wine sector, initially in Texas and subsequently nationwide, he adeptly introduces established tactics to every new market, alongside innovative concepts that sustain the prosperity of the Greek wine category.
