One of Local Profile’s favorite Collin County restaurants is offering a unique culinary experience this week. Bar Ranch Steak Co. will host their first Winter Wine Dinner this January. Guests can indulge in a five-course experience curated by Chef Kelsey Kirwen, where each course will be paired with selected wines to elevate the exceptional flavors of Bar Ranch Steak Co.

The menu for the evening will start with a Mushroom Cappucino featuring Georgia's king trumpet mushrooms with pecorino foam and grilled Brussels Caesar with brined and grilled Brussels sprouts, heirloom tomatoes and fried brioche.

Guests will then enjoy an Amuse course followed by a Ricotta Tortellino with house-whipped ricotta, corn pesto and bone marrow garlic cream; then a Meat and Potato course of Australian Wagyu strip, with black truffle potato dauphinoise. The meal will finish with a dessert course of Lemon Tart with lemon curd, lemongrass ice cream and charcoal sugar.

BAR-Ranch is a craft butcher shop providing both dry and wet aged steaks on site. All of the dry-aged steaks are aged for a minimum of 30 days in the custom 2000-cuft salt chamber, giving all of the steaks the best flavor you can find anywhere.

But don’t be fooled by the glassed-in aging room, BAR-Ranch isn’t just a craft butcher shop; The ambiance is great, and the spot is perfect for date nights, business meetings and memorable meals. If you don’t make it to the Winter Wine Dinner, make sure to treat yourself and stop by and try their amazing steaks and burgers. And if you want to buy meat to take home and cook yourself, BAR-Ranch has you covered. For meat lovers, it does it all.

The Winter Wine Dinner costs $250 per person and requires reservations. The first Winter Wine Dinner will take place on Thursday, January 25, starting at 6:00 p.m.

Bar Ranch Steak Co. is located at 1016 E 15th Street, Plano.
