Marking 25 years of impact, the Frisco Education Foundation is celebrating its silver anniversary by granting over $81,000 to empower educators and fuel innovative classroom projects.
What Is The Frisco Education Foundation
The Frisco Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is dedicated to enhancing the education of Frisco ISD students. Since its inception in 1999, the foundation has funded 830 grants, totaling more than $1.24 million to support local education. This year, funds supported 52 grants spanning 32 schools, benefiting 52 educators and 14 co-applicants.
District Impact
“Seeing the joy these grants bring educators, there’s nothing like it,” Ashley Sine, director of the Frisco Education Foundation and community relations said in an official statement. “These grants allow the Frisco ISD community to directly support educators by providing resources that make a meaningful difference in students’ education and growth.”
Through educational programs, student scholarships and grants for forward-thinking educators, the foundation empowers learning and innovation by enhancing the district's existing programs and promoting new ideas.
Where The Funds Come From
These grants, aimed at providing innovative program supplies, classroom materials and unique learning opportunities, are made possible by the generosity of Frisco ISD payroll contributions, CoServ, the Frisco Women’s League, the Stacy Simmons Memorial Teacher Grant Endowment and other community partners.

- Emerson High will use funds for thermal cameras
- Riddle Elementary will receive $3,500 for a drum club and creative engagement tools
- Clark Middle will use $3,000 to launch a house system for future-ready learners
- Rogers Elementary will revamp its nonfiction library
- Wilkinson Middle’s language classes will be granted funds for headphones
- Staley Middle’s AVID funds will support college visits
- Vandeventer Middle will create a schoolwide garden
- Talley Elementary will equipt classrooms with sensory items to aid self-regulation
