What started as a 16-year-old hopping on a plane to France, turned into transforming a dream into reality and creating a positive impact on the North Texas community.
Driven by a passion for perfumery and community, Brennan Godoi found a way to blend his love for fragrances with his desire to create positive change. The result? Parfums de Brennan — a new luxury perfume brand. With its mission to craft captivating scents while empowering communities, Parfums de Brennan just launched its debut unisex fragrance, Pure Dreams.
A refined fragrance that elevates the luxurious essence of Madagascar Vanilla, the scent opens with a bouquet of Egyptian geranium and Moroccan rose. It’s balanced by patchouli's gender-neutral warmth and Laotian Oud's depth.
“It’s a sensory journey with notes inspired by cherished memories, people, places and meaningful experiences that have shaped my life and values,” said Godoi in an official statement. “A fragrance that combines a refined scent profile with a heartfelt mission into a single bottle — one I’m excited to share with the world for a greater cause.”
The cause being a North Texas non-profit. In an act of philanthropy, 100% of the proceeds from Pure Dreams will support Jonathan's Place, a private, non-profit 501(c)3 organization. Johnathan’s Place offers safety, nurturing homes and brighter futures for children, teens and young adults who have faced abuse or neglect. Through this partnership, each purchase of Pure Dreams directly contributes to transforming lives.
“Brennan's drive to be a force for good in this world will positively impact the lives of thousands of children, and it will be an example of how others can follow his lead in making a difference in this world,” said Allicia Frye, director of Johnathan's Place.
But as the company grows, so will the philanthropic efforts. According to Godoi, every fragrance launched will support different charity organizations.
“Scents have the unique ability to evoke deep emotions, connecting us to the people, places and moments that shape our lives,” Godoi said on his website. “I would like for my fragrances to serve as a bridge between your cherished memories and the meaningful moments yet to come.”
Parfums de Brennan’s luxury fragrances are crafted exclusively in France and are available only in parfum concentrations, emphasizing the use of responsibly sourced raw materials and ingredients. This commitment to quality ensures a premium experience while maintaining ethical production practices.
