Kicking off the holiday season in style, the 98th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York will take to the streets on Nov. 28, bright and early. This year, the Allen High School cheerleaders will join the parade.
During the parade, 700 talented dancers and cheerleaders of Spirit of America Dance and Spirit of America Cheer — including those From Allen ISD — will perform throughout the parade route.
“Allen ISD is thrilled to be represented by the Allen Cheerleading Squad at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade,” Allen ISD Chief Communications Officer David Hicks told Local Profile. “Being chosen to perform in the parade is a testament to the commitment and determination of our students and coaches. Congratulations to coach Mosely and the entire cheer squad on this amazing honor and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.”
