The 2024 ACM Country Kickoff: What To Know

With the ACM Country Kickoff at The Star in Frisco returning for a second year, visitors have much to look forward to.

This year at the ACM Country Kickoff, ahead of the highly anticipated ACM Awards, attendees can expect to see many new and exciting additions.

When is it?

At this free two-day country music festival from 3 to 10 p.m., fans will have the opportunity to enjoy live music while celebrating the ACM Awards’ return to North Texas. Some of today’s most exciting up-and-coming country music artists will perform on the Carhartt stage, including several ACM Award nominees.

Where is it?

The event is set for The Star in Frisco at 1 Cowboys Way. More information, as well as a map, can be found here

Who's playing?

Last year, the ACM had 18 of country music’s buzziest up-and-comers on the two-day lineup at the outdoor stage, with only five of these artists being nominees. This year, many more nominees are involved, allowing fans who can’t attend the award show on Thursday to still experience the incredible talent that warrants an ACM nomination live in Frisco.

“We’ve not only locked in 20-plus artists (with a surprise guest or two along the way), but we’ve also packed out the lineup with ACM Award Nominees,” ACM Sr. Mamager, Communications and Stratigic Initiatives Lexi Cothran told Local Proile. “This year’s new female, new male and new duo/group of the year nominees are taking over the lineup this year, so fans will truly get the chance to see the next generation of country superstars from our outdoor stage.”

The County Kickoff will be center stage for a lineup of stars including artists such as Kassi Ashton, Ashley Cooke, Hannah Ellis, Kameron Marlowe, Kylie Morgan, Megan Moroney, Neon Union, Restless Road, Dylan Scott, Conner Smith, Nate Smith and Tigirlily Gold.

The lineup also includes other rising stars, fan favorites and a few surprises. The Carhartt Stage will host these talented artists on May 14 and May 15, featuring Chayce Beckham, Annie Bosko, Tyler Braden, Tiera Kennedy, Jenna Paulette, Alana Springsteen, Matt Stell and more.

And what about tickets?

Also new this year are VIP tickets which include artist meet and greet opportunities, premium viewing access of the outdoor stage from the dedicated and sanctioned Lucas Oil VIP Area, a Jack Daniel’s whiskey tasting, two drink tickets, merch items, dedicated bar service, a meal voucher redeemable at any of the on-site food trucks and more.

VIP tickets are still available for purchase here.

The Coors beer garden is back again this year, but new this year is dance floor — perfect for guests ready to two-step in the plaza.
